Solutions Engineer, EMEA

The role

This Solutions Engineer role sits within Notion's early-stage sales engineering organization, serving the EMEA market. The position bridges sales and product, helping prospective and existing customers understand how Notion integrates with their technical infrastructure and business workflows. As an early team member, you'll shape how Notion builds its sales-assisted motion.

What you'd do

• Partner with sales team on customer engagements and deal progression
• Address technical inquiries, RFPs, and security questionnaires accurately
• Guide customers through deployment and integration planning during sales cycles
• Design and present customized Notion solutions aligned with customer workflows
• Gather and document customer feedback for product team refinement
• Collaborate with marketing on technical messaging, content, and webinars
• Train sales organization on product capabilities and competitive landscape
• Build internal knowledge bases and documentation for cross-functional teams
• Represent Notion at industry events and customer-facing occasions

What they're looking for

• Minimum four years in technical sales, solutions engineering, or solutions architecture roles
• Ability to understand and explain API usage for advanced workflows
• Experience with third-party integrations including IAM/SSO, DLP, and SIEM platforms
• Demonstrated project management expertise handling complex initiatives
• Growth mindset suited to early-stage team building
• High adaptability in rapidly evolving business environments

Nice to have

• Early hiring experience at high-growth startups
• Hands-on experience using Notion
• Coding capability for writing basic scripts with Notion API
• Relational database design and usage experience
