Software Engineer, Product Growth

The role

The Core Growth team seeks an engineer to own applications driving Ramp's product-led growth across all channels. You'll work cross-functionally with product, data, and design to scale customer success, sales, and marketing through automation and AI. This role offers high ownership over the entire customer journey from discovery through expansion.

What you'd do

• Develop software solutions to scale customer acquisition and user growth
• Build automation and AI-assisted tools for sales, marketing, and customer success functions
• Own customer journey applications spanning discovery, onboarding, activation, and expansion
• Collaborate with product, data, and design partners on growth initiatives
• Drive business outcomes using metric-driven development approaches
• Ship reliable, scalable applications using modern infrastructure

What they're looking for

• Minimum three years of professional software development experience
• Track record shipping fast and reliable applications with contemporary tools
• Ability to work effectively in rapid, iterative startup environments
• Problem-solving mindset favoring pragmatic solutions over perfect approaches
• Strong commitment to continuous learning and technical excellence

Nice to have

• Startup founding or early-stage engineering experience
• Familiarity with modern data stack tools like Fivetran, Airflow, Snowflake
• Production experience implementing AI and large language models
• Strong engineering practices including system design and testing
• Understanding of marketing automation, personalization, and analytics platforms
