Accounts Payable Analyst

The role

This entry-level finance role supports Spotify's Procure-to-Pay operations across North America as part of the broader Finance team. The analyst manages invoice processing, vendor interactions, and financial reconciliations while driving process improvements through automation and collaboration across Finance, Tax, and Treasury functions.

What you'd do

• Process invoices, manage payments, and oversee vendor relationships throughout the procure-to-pay cycle
• Participate in month-end close activities including accruals, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Maintain subledger accuracy and manage vendor master data quality updates
• Collaborate with Finance, Tax, Treasury, and Financial Engineering teams to resolve issues and optimize workflows
• Communicate professionally with vendors and internal stakeholders to address inquiries and concerns
• Identify and implement process improvements leveraging automation and artificial intelligence tools
• Support evolving business requirements and operational needs as they emerge

What they're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related discipline
• Minimum two years of accounts payable or comparable finance experience
• Proficiency with enterprise resource planning systems and financial software
• Ability to manage large datasets and perform data analysis using spreadsheet applications
• Strong organizational skills with capability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Clear communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
