Accounts Receivable Analyst

The role

This role sits within Stripe's Finance Operations team, responsible for improving financial infrastructure and business services. The analyst will oversee contract onboarding into billing systems, partner across teams to enhance processes, and support scaling operations while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

What you'd do

• Onboard executed contracts into billing systems with precision
• Interpret legal contract terms and ensure meticulous documentation
• Design repeatable and auditable processes for customer onboarding
• Coordinate with sales, legal, engineering, and finance stakeholders
• Address customer concerns regarding billing implementation and collections
• Evaluate operational workflows and recommend improvements
• Support system implementations for billing and collections functions
• Execute key projects to optimize and scale operations
• Conduct monthly and quarterly metric analysis and reporting
• Contribute to building team culture and operational standards

What they're looking for

• 4-5 years in financial operations or billing, or 3+ years customer service with Business/Finance degree
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Advanced problem-solving and independent analytical skills
• Proficiency with Google Workspace, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office
• Experience analyzing contracts and managing large datasets
• Ability to evaluate multi-source data and determine action plans
• Track record collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated success completing complex projects
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and self-disciplined approach
